Information We Collect
Welcome to Sweet Listeners. Sweetlisteners.com is an Application (the “Application”) owned and operated by Sweet Listeners, LLC (the “Company” “us” and/or “we”), a Pennsylvania limited liability company, in conjunction with the Company’s cloud-based platform that connects users with independent listeners for scheduled, paid remote conversation sessions (“Application”). The Application, Features and any other services or products we may offer from time to time (as defined herein below) constitute the “Sweet Listeners Application.”
The Sweet Listeners platform collects and processes certain information that Users submit, as described throughout in this Privacy Policy. The Company reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy in accordance with the terms herein and reflected in the Terms of Service.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- Account means a unique account or profile created for You to access the Sweet Listeners Application.
- Affiliate means any entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a party, where “control” means the direct or indirect ownership of fifty percent (50%) or more of the voting interests or equivalent management authority.
- Company (referred to as “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) means Sweet Listeners, LLC.
- Country refers to the United States.
- Device means any device capable of accessing the Sweet Listeners Application, including computers, mobile phones, tablets, or similar hardware.
- Personal Information means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with a particular individual or household.
- Sale means selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating personal information to another business or third party for monetary or other valuable consideration, as defined under applicable privacy law.
- Service refers to the Sweet Listeners Application, including the Application, platform features, and related tools and support.
- Session shall mean a remote conversation of a specified duration between a User and a Listener conducted through the Application by text chat, voice call, or video call.
- Third-Party Processor means any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Company. This includes third-party companies or individuals engaged to provide functionality, analytics, hosting, payment processing, communications, or other components of the Sweet Listeners Application.
- Third-Party Social Media Service means any website, platform, or social network through which a User may log in to or create an Account for access to the Sweet Listeners Application.
- Usage Data refers to information automatically collected through the Sweet Listeners Application, such as device identifiers, browsing behavior, feature usage, crash logs, or performance data.
- You means the individual, who is eighteen (18) years of age or older, accessing or using the Sweet Listeners Application.
What information do we collect?
We collect information from You when You create an Account, complete a form, complete identity verification, build or edit your profile, join video or voice calls, use features within the Application, communicate with other Users, or otherwise interact with the Sweet Listeners Application. The categories of information we may collect include:
1. Account and Contact Information
- First name or display name;
- Email address;
- Date of birth;
- Phone number (used for SMS-based two-factor authentication); and
- Account login credentials, both Username and associated authentication information.
2. Profile Information
- Profile pictures;
- A short bio or profile; and
- Any other information You choose to include when using the Application. You must only submit information that You are legally authorized to provide.
3. Identity Verification Information
To help confirm that Users are real people, we use a selfie verification step at registration. You take a selfie within the Application, which is compared against your profile photo(s) to confirm a likely match. We do not require or collect a government-issued ID for this verification.
4. Payment Information
When You use the Sweet Listeners Application to complete purchase transactions or otherwise use the payment gateway, we may collect:
- Billing name and address
- Partial payment-card information
- Transaction history
- Full payment-card data is processed by a third-party payment processor (i.e. Stripe, Inc.), not by Sweet Listeners
5. Search and Usage Data
We may automatically collect information about Your interactions with the Sweet Listeners Application, including:
- Search history;
- Filters used;
- Interaction with other Users;
- Account history;
- Dates and times of access;
- Device and Log Data that includes operating system, identifiers, IP address, and browser type; and
- Analytics Data regarding how You interact with the Application, such as pages or features used, links used, and diagnostic data (crash logs, performance metrics).
6. Communications and Messaging Data
Sweet Listeners does not record or store the audio or video content of Sessions between Users. We may collect:
- Video or audio metadata;
- Messages exchanged through the Application;
- Push notifications, alerts, and other communications; and
- Sweet Listeners may monitor communications where permitted by law to ensure compliance with our Terms.
7. Information You Upload
If You upload documents, photos, bio text, or other materials, we collect the content You submit (“User-Generated Content”).
8. Analytics and Technical Data
We may collect non-identifying and aggregated analytics data through APIs and integrated services, including:
- Google Analytics
- Google Cloud logging
- Other measurement tools
Sensitive Personal Information
Some information we collect is treated as Sensitive Personal Information under applicable law. We collect and use Sensitive Personal Information only to operate, secure, and provide the Sweet Listeners Application, including identity verification, safety information, Terms enforcement, and any other information deem fit by the Company, and not to infer characteristics about you for advertising. Where required by law, you may direct us to limit our use of your Sensitive Personal Information, as described in "Your Privacy Rights" below.
How We Use Your Information
What we use information for
We may use the information we collect from You in the following ways:
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Sweet Listeners Application;
- To personalize and improve Your experience or the Application;
- To verify eligibility, age, and identity;
- To provide customer support, respond to inquiries, send notifications, or push any other data;
- To create, manage, and all administrative functions regarding Accounts;
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
- To operate reporting, safety features, and review reported content and conduct;
- To process trials and promotional or referral codes;
- To send transactional or administrative communications related to Your Account or activity on the Sweet Listeners Application;
- To generate analytics about how Users interact with the Sweet Listeners Application, including search trends, User engagement, and usage patterns, and to develop, improve, test products, services, features, analytics, and technologies;
- To maintain the security, integrity, and functionality of the Sweet Listeners Application, including monitoring for misuse or unauthorized activity;
- To communicate updates about the Sweet Listeners Application. We may also send promotional communications regarding products, services, features, offers, or opportunities that may be of interest to You. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time;
- To support and maintain the payment gateway in preventing fraud, payment circumvention, or other misuse of this feature or Application; and
- To comply with any law, regulation, legal proceeding or enforcement action.
We Do Not Share Your Personal Information
We do not sell Your personally identifiable information. We may disclose certain information as required to operate the Sweet Listeners Application, including through integrated APIs or Third-Party Processors who assist with hosting, analytics, communications, identity verification, or payment processing. These parties are permitted to use personal information only as necessary to perform their functions. In the event the Company materially changes this policy in the future where the use, disclosure, or transfer of personal information for purposes not described in this Privacy Policy, we will update this policy and provide notice as required by law. When consent is required by law, we will obtain your consent prior to changing this policy.
We may also disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Sweet Listeners, our Users, or others. If Sweet Listeners undergoes a merger, acquisition, or similar corporate transaction, personal information may be transferred to a successor entity.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
We may aggregate, anonymize, or de-identify information to create analytics, reports, perform an operations function, benchmarking, business intelligence, advertising, market insights, product development, or insights that do not identify any individual. We may use or share such aggregated or de-identified data for any lawful purpose. This processing is conducted for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including operating, maintaining, and improving the Sweet Listeners Application, and the analytics, benchmarking, business intelligence, market insights, product development, and other lawful business purposes described above.
Third party links/transactions
Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on the Sweet Listeners Application, including “Vendors” as defined in the Terms of Service. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of the Sweet Listeners Application and welcome any feedback about these sites.
When Users interact with one another through the Sweet Listeners Application, certain information such as names, contact details, account details, and the content of communications may be shared between the interacting Users. Any information a User chooses to disclose directly to another User is shared voluntarily and at the User’s own risk.
Sweet Listeners does not control how other Users may use or disclose information that You choose to share with them, and we are not responsible for any actions taken by any other User with respect to such information. Users are responsible for exercising appropriate discretion when sharing personal information and for complying with all applicable privacy laws when handling information obtained through the Sweet Listeners Application.
Your Privacy on the Platform
Data retention and deletion
You may request deletion of your Sweet Listeners Account and associated data through the in-app account-deletion flow or by contacting us at info@sweetlisteners.com. Upon a verifiable request, we will delete your Account and associated Personal Information from our active systems, except where retention is required for legal, financial, compliance, safety, or dispute-resolution purposes. We will inform you of any data retained and the duration of such retention, and we will direct our service providers to delete your data unless retention is required by law. We do not retain the content of Sessions. We retain limited message context associated with a report for 90 days to support safety review. Identity-verification images are retained by our verification provider in accordance with its policies, not in our primary systems.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). The Sweet Listeners Application is intended to be used by those who are at least eighteen (18) years old. It is not directed to children under the age of thirteen (13) years old, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen (13) years old, nor do we knowingly allow those under the age of eighteen (18) years old to register for the Application.
If we become aware any User violates this section, we will take reasonable steps to disable the account and delete this information, unless we are required by law to retain this information.
Online Privacy Policy Only
This online Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Sweet Listeners Application and not to information collected offline.
Keeping Your Information Secure
We have implemented security measures we consider reasonable and appropriate to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Please be advised, however, that while we strive to protect your personally identifiable information and privacy, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you disclose or transmit to us online and are not responsible for the theft, destruction, or inadvertent disclosure of your personally identifiable information. In the unfortunate event that your “personally identifiable information” (as the term or similar terms are defined by any applicable law requiring notice upon a security breach) is compromised, we may notify you by email (at our sole and absolute discretion) to the last email address you have provided us in the most expedient time reasonable under the circumstances; provided, however, delays in notification may occur while we take necessary measures to determine the scope of the breach and restore reasonable integrity to the system as well as for the legitimate needs of law enforcement if notification would impede a criminal investigation. From time to time we evaluate new technology for protecting information, and when appropriate, we upgrade our information security systems.
Your Choices
California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
Residents of the State of California, under certain provisions of the California Civil Code, have the right to request from companies conducting business in California a list of all third parties to which the company has disclosed certain personally identifiable information as defined under California law during the preceding year for third party direct marketing purposes. You are limited to one request per calendar year. In your request, please attest to the fact that you are a California resident and provide a current California address for our response. Contact and Opt-Out Information
You may contact us at info@sweetlisteners.com if: (a) you have questions or comments about our Privacy Policy; (b) wish to make corrections to any personally identifiable information you have provided; (c) want to opt-out from receiving future commercial correspondence, including emails, from us or our affiliated companies; or (d) wish to withdraw your consent to sharing your personally identifiable information with others. We will respond to your request and, if applicable and appropriate, make the requested change in our active databases as soon as reasonably practicable. Please note that we may not be able to fulfill certain requests while allowing you access to certain benefits and features of the Sweet Listeners Application.
Cookies, SDKs, and Similar Technologies
The Sweet Listeners Application is primarily a mobile application, and we and our service providers use a combination of technologies to operate it, secure it, and understand how it is used.
In the mobile application. We and our integrated service providers use software development kits ("SDKs") and similar technologies that may automatically collect device and usage information. We may also use device and installation identifiers, such as the Apple Identifier for Vendors (IDFV), the Google Android Advertising ID, and push-notification tokens, to authenticate you, operate and secure the Application, deliver notifications, and generate analytics. We may use these identifiers for functionality, security, and analytics purposes, and not for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can manage certain device-level permissions and identifiers (including resetting or limiting the advertising identifier and controlling notifications and location) through your device settings.
On our website. When you visit our marketing website, we and our analytics providers may use cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. You can refuse or disable cookies through your browser settings, but some website functionality may not work as a result.

Sole Statement
This Privacy Policy as posted on the Sweet Listeners Services is the sole statement of our privacy policy with respect to the Sweet Listeners Application, and no summary, modification, restatement or other version thereof, or other privacy statement or policy, in any form, is valid unless we post a new or revised policy to the Sweet Listeners Application.
