Talker guide

Someone to talk to when you’re bored

Not every conversation needs a reason. Sometimes you are bored, the scrolling is getting old, and you want to talk with an actual person about your day, a game last night, a book, a show or some big idea you have been chewing on.

18+ · remote · not therapy

Sweet Listeners is not only for hard days. Plenty of listeners pick “everyday conversation” or “hobbies or interests” because they like good, easy conversation. Fifteen minutes of real talk can be better than an hour of feeds.

Talk about the things you love

Sports, books, movies, music, cooking, gardening, cars, travel, history, video games — read bios to find someone who shares an interest. Or pick someone new and ask what they are into.

Good news counts too

Got the job? Finished the project? Nobody around to tell? Sharing good news with someone who is glad to hear it is one of the nicest uses of a session.

People talk about

  • Their day, start to finish
  • Sports, books, movies and TV
  • Hobbies and projects
  • Deep conversations and big ideas
  • Good news and celebrations
  • Anything at all
Sweet Listeners is conversation, not therapy. Sweet Listeners is not a crisis line. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (US) or contact local emergency services.
