Talker guide

Someone to talk to about faith

Maybe you want to talk about Jesus, a Bible passage or how prayer is going. Maybe you are questioning your faith, hurt by a church, or curious about a tradition that is not your own. Some listeners choose “spirituality or meaning” as a conversation type because they enjoy these conversations.

18+ · remote · not therapy

Faith conversations can be hard to have at church, where doubts feel risky, or at home, where not everyone believes the same thing. A listener gives you room to talk honestly — about belief, doubt, meaning and the big questions — for 15 minutes.

Christian conversations, prayer and Bible talk

Some talkers look for a Christian listener to talk about God, share a prayer request or discuss scripture. Read listener bios to find someone whose background fits what you want. If both of you are comfortable, you can pray together during the session.

Doubt, deconstruction and other faiths

Questioning what you were raised with, leaving a church, or exploring a different faith can be lonely. Listeners are asked to be respectful of every belief and of no belief. Nobody is there to convert you or to argue you out of anything.
