Someone to talk to about family
Family is where the deepest love and the oldest frustrations live. When you need to talk about parents, kids, siblings, in-laws or caregiving with someone outside the family, a verified listener gives you 15 minutes to say it straight.
18+ · remote · not therapy
The hardest family topics are the ones you cannot raise at the dinner table: the parent you no longer speak to, the sibling who never helps with Mom, the teenager who will not talk to you, the in-laws who visit too long. A listener has no stake in any of it.
Parenting and new parents
New moms and dads are often surrounded by advice and still lonely. Single parents carry everything at once. Parents of teens and adult kids face a whole new set of worries. A short conversation with another adult can be a reset in the middle of the day.
Caring for aging parents
Caregiver stress is real: appointments, money, siblings who disagree, a parent with dementia who does not recognize you on bad days. Listeners cannot give medical or care advice, but they can give you a place to talk about what it is like.
Estrangement, in-laws and holidays
No contact with a parent, a strained relationship with an adult child, blended-family tension, or holiday drama on the calendar — talking it through ahead of time can make the day itself easier.
