Talker guide

An accountability partner to talk to

Goals are easier to keep when someone asks how it is going. Whether you are trying to lose weight, exercise more, quit smoking, cut back on drinking, fix your sleep or stick to a budget, a verified listener can be your accountability partner for regular 15-minute check-ins.

18+ · remote · not therapy

Friends mean well, but they forget to ask, or they ask in a way that feels like nagging. A paid check-in is simple: you book the time, you report in, you talk about what got in the way, and you set the next small step. The plan is yours — the listener is there to listen and encourage.

Health and habit goals

Diet and weight-loss check-ins, workout motivation, a quit-smoking or quit-vaping streak, sober-curious goals, screen time, a sleep schedule. Listeners will not design a diet, workout or medical plan; they help you stay honest with the one you have.

Work, study and money goals

Study sessions, writing goals, a side project, a monthly budget. Some people use a short session as “body doubling” — a person on the other end while you start the thing you have been avoiding.

Self-care, too

Booking the massage, taking the walk, calling a friend back — self-care goals slip first when life gets busy. A quick check-in can keep them on the list.

FAQ: accountability partner

Can I book the same listener for regular check-ins?
Yes. If a listener works well for you, book them again. Short, regular sessions work well for accountability.
Will a listener give me a diet or workout plan?
No. Listeners are not doctors, dietitians or trainers. They check in on the plan you already have and encourage you.
How much does a session cost?
Each session is 15 minutes: chat (text) is $10, voice is $20 and video is $30. You pick the format before you start. There is no subscription.
Can I use this for sobriety support?
A listener can be someone to talk to about staying on track, but Sweet Listeners is not a treatment program or a substitute for medical or recovery care. In an emergency, call 988 or local emergency services.
